Team 2 Collett beat Team 5 Tracey with wins for the literally gutsy Grant Michell, Chris Dwyer, Ben Reid, Chris Grant, Albert Cavalli and Yvonne Tracey, while Jarrod Collett beat his good friend Hugh Pottie ‘mouth’ in straight games.
Team 1 Middleton beat Team 6 Doherty with wins for Craig Hausler, George Eleftheriou, Frank Cavalli, Chris Elkington, Lisa Doherty and Katie Hailes, while Ian Middleton dug deep to clinch victory for his team after five long gruelling games.
Team 4 Bevan beat Team 3 Daquino with wins for Rod Bevan, Graham Kidson, Jodie Wheatley, Kyle Huysmans and Steve Blackwood, while Charles D’Aquino looked gone after losing the first two games to the very quick Mark Goes until he found another couple of gears ramping up the pace to storm home and win in five cracking games.
