About 100 people turned out to Life Without Barriers’ colour run at Gosling Creek on Friday morning.
The event was designed to make a disability-friendly colour run, which is an activity people with a disability often don’t have access to.
One of the organisers of the event, Heather Bevan, said people who had turned out for the event had were “loving it”.
“I think a lot of people have said they’ve never had anything like this in the area and they seem to be pretty happy,” she said.
She said this was the first time Life Without Barriers had held the event, and the team would “learn from it and make it bigger and better next year”.
Penny Medway did two laps of the course and said she loved the event.
