This year’s festival will feature the Canberra Dragon Dance Chinese Dragon and Lions, who will lead the street parade, while award-winning poets Bob Kettle and Carol Heuchan will be performing throughout the day.
Over 100 market stallholders will be on hand selling their wares, as well as plenty of food stores and displays.
A chocolate wheel and helicopter rides will also feature, while to end the day, popular local entertainer Barry Dickerson will be performing an outdoor concert.
“The committee is hard at work with preparations for this year’s event,” the president of the Stuart Town Advancement Association Marcus Hanney said.
“We’re a small volunteer community group that is definitely punching above its weight.
“We really do hope to see families take the drive down Burrendong Way and come along to what promises to be a great day.”
The 2018 Man from Ironbark Festival will be held on March 31, starting at 9am.
