The Western NSW Local Health District has [WNSWLHD] put out the call to people interested in a career in mental health nursing, with 10 scholarships to support training and employment in enrolled nursing.

“The scholarship means that you’ll be employed on a casual basis in mental health services in Orange while you undertake your Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) training at TAFE,” said District Nurse Educator Mental Health Richard Whitton.
“Under the scholarship program, graduates will also be offered employment as an enrolled nurse and will even be eligible for a reimbursement of student fees when they have been employed for 12 months.
“There are a lot of opportunities in the mental health nursing field, and in the Western NSW Local Health District there are a number of locations where qualified enrolled nurses will be able to work and make a huge contribution in mental health.”
