Since becoming president of the Orange Farmers Markets last year, Kai Woltmann has overseen a move to a larger pavilion for winter markets, allowing dogs at markets.

From this month, there will a three-month trial for a second market each month, which will be on the fourth Sunday each month, and he said the ideas came from surveys and successes at other markets.
Mr Woltmann joined the farmers market when he started the Second Mouse Cheese Company about five years ago.
Last year he stepped into the president’s role of the committee and said he’s hoping to be reelected at the February meeting.
“I’ve been been on the committee for a while and I wanted to be able to help,” he said.
