The teenager was fined $400 for driving without a licence and $600 for stealing a debit card on July 5 from a Toyota Camry – which was later stolen and found burnt out.
He was not charged with setting the car on fire and was not convicted of stealing the car.
The boy was also fined $400 for driving without a licence on June 15, and $100 each for driving an unregistered and uninsured car.
He was caught because the car, which he bought for $50, had no number plates and attracted police attention.
