This Saturday he will be living a dream in a trackside marquee near the Randwick finishing post surrounded by the other co-owners of The Everest fancy Redzel.
“I would not miss this for the world,” the Orange City junior cricket team coach said.
“This is my first involvement with a racehorse.
“My mates have been after me to go into it for four or five years.
“I’m extremely excited about the whole event.
“This is beyond everything else.”
And he said it was highly possible Redzel can win the massive race.
“We’ve been absolutely blessed with this horse.
“It gives 100 per cent every time it runs.
“I’m quietly confident, he’s in peak order.
“It’s going to take a mighty horse to beat him,” he said.
