Competing under the name ‘A Grape Bunch’, Debbie Lauritz (Cumulus Wines), Justin Jarrett (See Saw Wines), Philip Shaw (Philip Shaw Wines) and Justin Byrne (Strawhouse Wines) took on the 100-kilometre course, raising $13,000 for Oxfam in the process.
Mr Byrne said the course presented “the hardest physical challenge” the group’s members had faced.
The team completed the course in 30 hours and 45 minutes, taking over 158,000 steps in the process.
Mr Byrne thanked the Orange community on the group’s behalf for its generous fundraising support.
