I AM very disappointed about the abrupt closure of Stepping Stone restaurant, with apparently no explanation or forwarding contact details available.
The restaurant seemed to be successful, plenty of customers whenever we dined, and we very much enjoyed the cuisine and service.
It had become one of our favourite restaurants.
We had a booking to celebrate a special dinner on June 24, which had been booked for some time, and for which we had been given a $120 voucher from work colleagues for this occasion.
As per usual protocol, a mobile number was left with the booking.
I do not know the circumstances of the closure, but it was obviously sudden.
Unfortunately I had to spend the next month out of Orange, so I could not follow it up immediately, but I have not seen any reason for the closure, nor any information about trying to claim outstanding accounts.
I have since tried phoning, emailing and knocking on the door.
I would very much like to claim back the value of my voucher.
