FIRE crews are attending a small fire at the Ophir Road Resource Recovery Centre.
In a post on its Facebook page the NSW Rural Fire Service Canobolas Zone said residents need not be concerned if they see or smell the smoke across the city.
“Orange, Clifton Grove, Ophir and North West brigades are attending a green waste fire at the Orange City Council Landfill site on Ophir Road,” the post reads.
“This will no doubt burn for some time and smoke will be visible across Orange.”
