Sydney Weekender, the popular Channel 7 travel show, featured Orange in a segment in Sunday’s program.
Host Mike Whitney was in town, showcasing the dining, wine and accommodation options available to would-be tourists.
In particular, the segment threw a spotlight on Mandagery Creek Venison Farm, The Old Convent hotel at Borenore and the Groundstone Cafe at Orange Regional Museum.
The show’s website claims they were in town to look at “sensational produce. A vibrant food and wine scene. And super-friendly, country hospitality. Orange ticks all these boxes and more.”
The welcome publicity comes on the back of two other television shows extolling the virtues of Orange as a destination.
Earlier this year The Golf Show filmed and aired a story on Duntryleague, Wentworth and the Country Club, while last month Better Homes and Gardens dedicated an entire one-hour show to Orange, with a particular focus on the 2017 Orange Show.
