A man who was arrested for an assault which has left another man in a critical condition in hospital has been refused bail.

Police have been told there was a fist fight between two neighbours at Orchard Grove Road on Saturday morning following an ongoing dispute.
About 1.30pm, one of the men, aged 62, was driving out of his driveway when a man allegedly began to hit his car with a wooden post.
As the man got out of his vehicle it’s alleged he was hit in the head with the wooden post.
He was taken to Orange Health Service before being airlifted to Westmead Hospital where he is in a critical but stable condition.
A 47-year-old man was arrested and has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a person with intent and reckless grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear at Orange Bail Court on Sunday where he was again refused bail.
The man will appear via video link in Orange Local Court on Monday.
Investigations are continuing.
