Paul Ringland, Tom Goolagong and Al Hattersley have teamed up with Orange Dance Centre to compete in Stars of Orange Dance for Cancer and raise funds for the Cancer Council.
“Firstly I just really wanted to represent the club and support the community,” Mr Ringland said.
“They really get behind us and gives us support whether we’re going well or not going well.
“Secondly as an exercise physiologist I see the impact cancer has on families and individuals.”
Mr Ringland said he and his fellow dancers were grateful for the support of Orange Dance Centre.
“The girls have been amazing, really patient and willing to listen to our ideas,” he said. The team will draw its raffle, which will form a major part of its fundraising, at Washington and Co at 7pm on Tuesday.
