Team 1 Locke outclassed Team 6 Brearley with wins for Charlie Locke, George Eleftheriou, Sonia Fitzgerald and Peter Brearley won in a marathon match while Tom Riley looked down and out at two games down before storming home to beat a brave Lisa Doherty in five games.
Team 5 Matters beat Team 2 Tracey with wins for Jasper Matters, Leigh Miller, Chris Elkington and the club villain Grant Michell while Yvonne Tracey showed why she loves her winter squash with some exquisite shots to win in three.
Team 3 Knight snuck past Team 4 Middleton with wins for Charles Daquino, Tom Secheny, Ian Middleton and Kym Knight while the jovial larrikin Steve Blackwood won the night for his team by beating a gallant Narelle Fowler in straight games.
