Wooding’s whitewash secures outfit title favouritism

Team 1 Wooding has stormed into the grand final after whitewashing Team 2 Secheny in the major semi-final of the Wednesday night mixed squash competition.

Robyn Chapman won 3-0 as did Ian Middleton and George Eleftheriou.

Darren Wooding, who has had an average season thus far, brought out his full arsenal to dispose of the pasty-skinned Tom Secheny in four games.

In the minor semi-final Team 8 Brearley outclassed Team 6 Kidson with wins for Kym Knight and Max Gleeson.

Luke Kidson handed Steve Elliot yet another drubbing while Peter Brearley put on his angry face to come out all guns blazing and annihilate Nathan Garton three nil to give his team another bite of the cherry.
