Orange completed a wonderful run through the Hockey NSW under 18s boys’ field state championship last weekend, making an appearance in the semi-finals at the Newcastle International Hockey Centre.

On day one of the side’s second division campaign, Orange knocked off Goulburn 5-1 before edging North West Sydney (2) 2-1.
On the Saturday, Orange suffered a minor setback courtesy of a 2-1 loss to Sydney South before bouncing back with a thrilling 1-0 win over Wagga.
In the finals, Orange met a bumper Grafton line-up, going down 4-2 in the semi-final on Sunday, Grafton eventually going on to lose the final by the same scoreline against New England.
