A group of Orange cafes will donate all or part of their coffee sales to Legacy when they open their doors on Anzac Day. Scrumptious on Summer has been raising money with the Coffee for Legacy Campaign every year since 2014 and based on previous experience will use 16 kilograms of coffee and contribute 100 per cent of their sales to the cause. Last year through sales and donations it donated $4000 to Legacy, which helps the families affected by defence force service. This year is the second year Soho on Summer is taking part in the cause and new on board will be Factory Espresso who will donate a percentage of sales and the Mill Cafe will donate their hot drink sales. Scrumptious on Summer owner Suzy Glasby said the cafe will only sell drinks and Anzac biscuits for the day and staff have volunteered to donate their time from 5.30am to noon. Last year about $10,000 was raised by cafes in Orange with all proceeds going to the Orange branch. The dawn service starts at 5.20am at Robertson Park for more details visit www.centralwesterndaily.com.au.
