George Georgiou is going out of his way to change that.
Mr Georgiou has been president of the Orange-based Southern Cross Street Cruisers club for 13 years and said he was determined it was a family club.
“I don’t want it to be a blokes club,” he said.
“We are a family-orientated car club.”
He said the club had many family groups as members and several women owned some great-looking machinery.
The club hosted a charity show and swap meet at Orange Showground last Sunday and have a Super Swap Meet in September.
He also owns a restored classic yellow 1957 Chevrolet.
