The former Australia’s Most Ordinary Rig contestant will swap Budgy Smugglers for ballroom attire at the Stars of Orange Dance for Cancer event in June.
While Mr Findlay said he was not a dancer, he was up for the challenge.
“I've been paired with Spinnin' Pole Studio as my dance school which I think will magnify that challenge,” he said.
“It's not something I'd normally do so it'll take me out of my comfort zone but I'm looking forward to it.”
Mr Findlay said each dancer had committed to raising $2500.
“If you see me pop up around the place, please, come up to me and chip in," he said. "Cancer’s a dreadful disease, which impacts almost everyone whether that be directly or indirectly and being able to play a role like this in the fight against it is a huge opportunity.”
Tickets to the event will be on sale on Friday, March 24.
