Artist Chrissie Abbott will present a series of mixed medium works.
“I want to make work that makes people feel good,” she said.
Fellow artist French (Richard Sayer) described his work as “teenage boy nostalgia”.
“I want people to feel something and create an opinion,” he said.
French said artists had a greater reach in the Instagram age.
“That can bring people in [to an exhibition], you don’t have to rely on posters around town anymore” he said.
The official opening will be held at Ludlow Creative Space, 187 Lords Place at 6pm on Friday and will run until April 8.
