A woman has been fined $750 for stealing a pair of shoes and a dress valued at $32.

Chloe Davis, 19 of Racecourse Road did not appear in court to face the shoplifting charge on Monday and was sentenced her in her absence.
At 5.30pm on December 12, Davis was seen going into a department store by a loss prevention officer who followed her around the store and saw her put the shoes and dress into a bag and leave the store.
She was taken to the office where police arrested her.
