It is unconfirmed but it is believed the deceased was a male security guard.
By 9am on Tuesday a large section of TAFE Western’s Orange Rural Skills campus on Forest Road had been cordoned off by police.

TAFE staff, who are not due to resume teaching until the end of the month, were consoling each other outside the cordoned off area on Tuesday morning.
TAFE has issued a statement of support for its staff and students.
“TAFE NSW has been made aware of an incident at the Forest Road campus this morning that has been referred to the police,” a TAFE NSW spokesperson said.
“We are saddened by the loss and are making every effort to support staff, families and students at this time.”
A Worksafe spokesman said the organisation had not been contacted by police to investigate the death.
