In bizarre scenes to end the clash, Sixers veteran Brad Haddin hit the winning runs off a free hit, slogging a length delivery down the throat of long on, running the final two runs for victory to chase down the Renegades’ 6-170 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The Renegades, however, didn’t appear to realise the game was over, waiting for another ball to be bowled.
Tremain had a night to forget, bowling three overs and earning figures of 0-38, an economy rate of 12.67 runs an over. The Renegades sit fifth on the ladder.
