A WOMAN was taken to Orange hospital with cuts and chest pain after her car crashed into a tree near Blayney on Monday night.

The woman, is believed to be in her 60s, remains in hospital and is yet to be interviewed by police about the crash.
The woman, who was the sole occupant of the car was driving south along Millthorpe Road, near Browns Creek Road at 7.10pm.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a guard rail, before crashing into a tree. Initial reports said the woman was trapped in the car.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said paramedics received the call to the crash just after 7pm.
They said the female driver complained of pain in her chest, and also had a laceration to her forehead and abrasions to her foot and knee.
She was transported by road ambulance to Orange Health Service.
Officers from Chifley Local Area Command are investigating the cause of the crash.
