The Orange Business Chamber’s Banjo Business Awards finalists will made public at the Orange Ex-Services’ Club from 6pm.
The award categories have been refreshed and there will be finalists to 14 categories.
“The new awards format has been well received by the Orange business community, with many businesses entering the awards for the first time,” Orange Business Chamber president Mark Madigan said.
“Changing the focus of the awards to champion the values of business, along with the written submission format, encouraged nominees to demonstrate to the external judging panel how their business strategies have contributed to achieving their goals.
“The feedback from judges after the nomination submissions indicates a high calibre of entrants, which is incredibly pleasing and a testament to the quality of businesses in the Orange region.”
Award categories include excellence in community services, marketing, innovation, sustainability and customer service.
There were more than 1,200 votes cast in the Central Western Daily poll to decide which business should win the People's Choice Award - Orange's Favourite Business.
Winners, including the people’s choice award, will be announced at the Banjo Business Awards gala dinner at Orange Ex-Services' Club on February 25 next year.
Tickets to the gala dinner go on sale on December 1 from the Orange Business Chamber’s office in Centrepoint Arcade.
