After withdrawing from the side originally thanks to injury, Parkes’ Anthony Heraghty and Bathurst’s Aaron Seymour were racing the clock to potentially be fit for the decider but the 12-strong group which claimed southern pool honours last week will remain the same.
Heraghty would’ve substantially bolstered the batting stocks of the Western side which, in said pool games, struggled somewhat to get going with willow in hand – outside tons from Dubbo pair Jordan Moran and Greg Buckley.
In-form and proven big-game performers, Moran and Buckley will be two linchpins in Western’s batting line-up.
Western is chasing its first Country Championship win since in three seasons having won in 2014-15.
Sunday’s decider kicks off at 10am.
