A MAN was fined $750 in Orange Local Court on Monday for possession of 0.7 grams of cannabis.

Robert Colin Choat, 19, of South Terrace, was represented by Aboriginal Legal Aid solicitor Nidal Abdi who said his client had taken steps to reduce his drug intake and it appeared the drug was weighed with the foil, increasing its weight.
Choat was found with the cannabis in his pocket at about 12.30pm on Tuesday, September 20 after being stopped for riding a bike without a helmet in Woodward and Byng Streets.
