Learn the simple steps in formulating an on farm biosecurity protocol.
Learn the reasons why this is important to an agricultural enterprise, be it livestock, cropping or just a hobby farm.
Daily talks on a variety of topics related to biosecurity across agricultural enterprises, gives visitors the opportunity to ask questions pertaining to their individual situations.
The Ute Competition will see if anyone can identify the vehicle biosecurity risks.
There will also be a Grain Guessing competition with one main prize.
The Australian Export Grains Innovation Centre (AEGIC) will have an interactive display that show cases:
- Comparison of noodle types;
- Offer some tastings and handouts of sample noodles;
- Information on our wheat export volumes; and
- Information on AEGIC’s current projects.
School students will display their culinary skills in the Bread Making competition.
A demonstration of pruning fruit trees will take place each day with a chance to ask any questions.
Education in Agriculture for Everyone, the theme for the education display, will be located in the Trevor Elliott Pavilion – opposite the ANFD office.
