The theme of the symposium is ‘New ideas: growing rural research’.
Keynote speakers will include USSRH rural and remote research hub coordinator Lauren Weller, communications coordinator Jocelyn Johnston and Charles Sturt University professor of nursing Linda Shields.
Topics will include building the capacity of rural and remote research, social media and whether research is different in the country.
The overall aim of the WHRN is to reduce the health inequalities of people living, studying and working in western NSW through research.
