The sellers at the swap meet will be up well before dawn, lining the entrance to the Orange Showground with everything from cutlery to carburettors in what has become more than just a swap meet.
Thousands of buyers are anticipated to attend the swap meet and will be able to browse from 9am through to about 2pm.
Club president and swap meet organiser George Georgiou said the event had come a long way from being just a swap meet for bikes.
“It was originally just a meet for bikes, but now it’s wide open and we even have people here selling lollies,” he said. “Their are still sites available and they’re only $20, so it doesn’t matter what you’re selling just as long as it’s legal.”
The swap meet’s biggest drawcard though are the parts that every motoring enthusiast is looking for, and Mr Georgiou will be one of the first to be loading his arms up with bits and pieces.
“I’m always looking for gear, I need a lot of stuff for my cars,” he said.
Mr Georgiou said there was no need to book a site because anyone interested in having a stall could just turn up before the gates open at 9am.
Entry is by gold coin donation with money raised going towards beyondblue, Street Swags and the Lions club.
