A 52-year-old Millthorpe man has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death after a fatal collision with a motorcyclist on The Escort Way west of Orange at 2.30pm on Friday.

A police spokesman told the Central Western Daily the deceased motorcyclist was a 62-year-old Orange woman.
The road was closed for seven hours, with traffic diverted through Molong.
In the vehicle with the driver who has been charged was an 83-year-old passenger.
Police say the driver was negotiating a right-hand bend 10 kilometres west of Orange while travelling in an easterly direction.
The Yamaha motorcycle being ridden in the opposite direction and collided with the vehicle on the passenger's side.
The man has been bailed to appear in Orange Local Court in February.
