On Wednesday Ms Wallington, who now works as a winemaker for Philip Shaw Wines worked along a team of the wine industry’s most experienced wine judges at the 2015 Pier One Sydney Harbour NSW Wine Awards judging in Orange.
“Working in the wine industry is part of a wonderful lifestyle and you work alongside dynamic and interesting people,” Ms Wallington said.
“Today has been a great opportunity to build on my experience,” she said.
“It is also a wonderful opportunity to work alongside winemakers in the industry who bring their perspective to wine styles and winemaking,” she said.
Ms Wallington works alongside winemakers Philip and Daniel Shaw.
Other judges on yesterday’s panel included Emma Jenkins, Matthew Dunn, Mike DeGaris, Kate Goodman, James Manners, Asher Tinkler, Tom Hogan, James Kilmartin and Julia Abouzeid.
