Not Just Another Trivia Night will be jam-packed with videos of students reading out questions, audio-visual prompts, performance questions, music, auctions and lots of prizes on Saturday night.
Last year the P and F Association raised $23,000, and publicity officer Simone Thompson said they were hoping to better that this year.
“Our main aim is to raise enough money to be able to install hearing assistance systems into each classroom,” Ms Thompson said.
“The hearing assistance amplifies the teacher’s voice and gives kids the ability to hear what’s going on clearly, especially for those up the back of the classroom with hearing problems.”
Students from classes at the school have also been working hard to create a painting to be auctioned off on the night, alongside 10 artworks from central west artists including Freya Blackwood, John Shields and Jane Tonks.
Artworks can be viewed at the art preview evening tonight in the school hall from 6 to 7.30pm.
Not Just Another Trivia Night will be held at James Sheahan Catholic High School’s Mercy Hall and will begin at 6.30 for a 7pm start.
Guests can bring their own drinks and nibbles along, but soup, bread rolls, cakes, slices, tea and coffee will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $12 each and are available from the school office or can be reserved by calling 6362 7926.
