NSW Business Chamber Central West Orana regional manager Vicki Seccombe said she was happy with the standard of the finalists who made it to the state awards.
“This year we have even greater involvement by the business community in the awards with finalists from across the region” she said.
“Looking at the calibre of finalists from this region, I am confident that the Central West Orana region will again triumph at the state awards in Sydney.”
This year’s nominees include Geolyse, Orange (excellence in business), Brett Carslake from B & C Carslake Plumbing (young entrepreneur of the year), Nathan Liddicoat from Whittaker Contracting (young business executive), Six Chickens, Orange (excellence in innovation) and Alison Bennett from Spine Alive, Orange (business leader).
Ms Seccombe said last year nine regional winners from Central West Orana competed to take out the state’s top honours, with the chief executive officer from Indigiearth in Mudgee, Sharon Winsor, awarded the NSW Business Chamber’s 2013 business leader of the year.
