In cricket action there were three Orange District Cricket Association first grade games on Saturday: Orange City defeated Kinross at Wade Park, CYMS accounted for Centrals at Riawena Oval and Cavaliers defeated Centrals at Sir Jack Brabham Park.
In lower grade Waratahs met Cavaliers at Max Stewart Park.
The women's Premier League Hockey season commenced on Saturday, with Lithgow Panthers giving Orange Ex-Services a 6-nil touch-up at the Orange Hockey Centre.
Orange Emus played Randwick colts in a trial game at Endeavour Oval, while Duntryleague took on Bathurst in a pennants clash at the Country Club on Sunday.
There was also softball at Sir Jack Brabham Park and lawn bowls at Orange City.
It was all happening. And we were there for all of it.
