A SEVEN-WICKET haul from Nick Roweth helped CYMS Moroneys easily claim first innings points against Waratahs in their Orange District Cricket Association second grade match on Saturday.

Roweth took 7-7 from his seven overs which included a triple-wicket maiden and a double-wicket maiden.
His efforts helped removed Waratahs for just 36 at Max Stewart Oval in the first day of their two-day match.
Simon Roberts claimed 3-10 from his eight overs.
Moroneys then picked up the bat and worked their way to 131 with Tom Evans (37) and Nick Moran (22) the best.
Jarrod Chambers claimed 4-20 for Waratahs and John Savill took 2-36.
Waratahs started their second innings and were 4-75 at stumps.
Things are tight in the match between Centrals and Cavaliers at Moulder Park.
Tim Sandford led the charge with the bat for Centrals making 101 not out to push them to 279.
David Aldis also chipped in with 44 and Matt Weller put on 39.
Mark Johnson took 3-44 and Steve Ryan claimed 3-57 while Charlie Foran (2-65) also took multiple wickets for Cavaliers.
Cavaliers have made a solid start in their run chase to be 1-61 after 10 overs.
Harry Taberner (41) was bowled by George Olsen (1-13) and Dennison Thurtell (10no) and Mark Johnson (4no) will continue the work towards the winning total this Saturday.
Gladstone have already claimed first innings points against Metro Force.
Playing at Spring Hill, Metro Force were removed for 119.
Jason Sell took 4-16 for Gladstone and Mick Sullivan claimed 3-30.
Gladstone batted well with Ray Milner (52 not out), Sullivan (48) and Jason Tarleton (32no) making good scores and the team was 4-156 at stumps.
In Centenary Cup action, it was an all-CYMS affair as Fahys took on Kellys at Anzac Park on Saturday.
Kellys batted superbly in the opening day’s play making 308 with James Croke (99), Louis Lockwood (74), Mitch Winslade (41) and Michael Hannelly (34) in good form.
The Fahys bowlers did it tough but Todd Murphy (3-82) and Tom Belmonte (3-7) were able to take multiple wickets.
Fahys have made a reasonable start with the bat being 3-71 at stumps with Matt van Schaik (29) and Luke Kilkeary (3) the not out batsmen.
Chris Smee took 2-15 and Cameron Thomas (1-24) claimed the other scalp.
The second day’s play in second grade and Centenary Cup matches will be this Saturday.
