The Red Devils sit on 265 points after Sunday’s opening round which was in Mudgee.
Orange, who are three-time defending champions, are next best on 199 points.
Dubbo have 43 points followed by Bathurst (42) and Cowra (17).
In the inter-club events, each person who wins their age division earns 11 points for their club, second earns 10 and so on down the placings.
Every participant is awarded a point.
Three Orange triathletes earned maximum points for their club.
Laura Auberson was the best in the women’s 14-19 years division, Katja Ingham was first across the line in the women’s 20-29 years and Julie Tarleton took out the women’s 60 years and over category.
Dave Selwood (men’s 20-29), Jess Richards (women’s 30-39), Jared Sullivan (men’s 30-39) and Janet Martin (women’s 40-49) were second in each of their divisions.
The next Inter-Club event will be held at Cowra on December 2.
This will be followed by events at Dubbo (January 27), Bathurst (February 10) and Orange (March 3).
