Divall is part of the NSW under 18s women’s indoor hockey team which will contest the national championship in January.
Her selection came after she helped Sydney to claim the NSW under 17s title early last month.
But that’s not all for the 16-year-old.
She was also selected as a shadow player for the NSW under 21s team after helping Sydney to the state division two under 21s-opens title in late October.
“It was so much fun,” Divall said of the two state titles.
The Sydney team went through the under 17s tournament undefeated to claim the state title.
They were so dominant they scored 44 goals during the pool matches and conceded one.
They downed North Shore 5-2 in the grand final to win the state title.
“We had the same team, except for one girl, in the under 21s-opens. We took out second division,” Divall smiled.
After going through the pool matches undefeated, Sydney downed Central Coast 5-1 in the semi-final and Campbelltown (2) 4-3 in the grand final.
Divall is still surprised at her selection as a shadow player for the NSW under 21s team.
“I’m only 16,” she said.
Divall, who played striker and centre at the state championships, has another two training sessions with the NSW under 18s side.
The teenager expects NSW to be the side to beat at the national tournament.
“Hopefully we’ll come out on top. We’ve got a pretty strong team,” she said.
She’ll also train with the under 21s but only go away with them if a player cannot make the trip to Canberra.
The Australian Under 18s Indoor Championships will be held in Launceston, Tasmania from January 17-20 next year.
The Under 21s Championships are to be held in Canberra from January 9-12.
