Principal Joanne Jackett said the hall, which opened in July, has been well used by the school and local community.
Prior to the new hall Ms Jackett said there was no indoor area big enough to house the school population of 214 students.
“We’ve never had a hall so it’s been really great for the school,” she said.
“It’s has portable stage sections, it makes it more flexible.”
Ms Jackett said while some sports are played in the hall, it is also used for gatherings and assemblies and is hired out by the Millthorpe community.
“It’s wonderful, that helps cover the cost of indoor lighting and heating,” she said.
Due to a lack of space on the school’s grounds Ms Jackett said a block of land next door was purchased for construction of the hall.
Ms Jackett has extended an invitation to the community to come and have a look a the school and hall during this weekend’s Millthorpe Garden Ramble.
“There will be a sausage sizzle and art show in the hall,” she said
