Kicking the heels up in gay paree

AN avenue of trees lit with lights simulating the Champs Elysees will greet guests tonight when they step through the foyer at the Orange Function Centre for Soiree Parisienne.

Performers atop a simulated Moulin Rouge - style stage will entertain during the night with the can can dancers moving through the avenue of trees to get up close and personal with guests.

More than 300 guests have each paid $150 to support the building of the Ronald McDonald House in Orange.

Work on the building began two weeks ago..

After the conclusion of tonight’s event more than $150,000 from the last three major fundraisers, La Primevera, the Titanic Ball, and Soiree Parisienne will have been raised.

An auction with highly sought-after items will be a feature of tonight’s event.
