A 231 hectare hazard reduction burn will be conducted by the NSW Rural Fire Service in north Orange today.
The burn will be conducted in Clergate along the Ophir Road with firefighters aiming to reduce ground fuel levels before the next bushfire season.
With favourable weather conditions predicted firefighters are also planning to conduct another hazard reduction near the Burrendong Way later this week.
