Orange City Council is expected to adopt controversial new pool entry prices at Thursday’s meeting after receiving no comments from the public about the charges.
The season ticket prices, $1030 for a family, $396 for single and $288 for a child, senior or student, were met with criticism when they were announced for being out of the reach of some pool-goers.
Councillor Reg Kidd said he was surprised no submissions were received by council.
“I think people are a little bit fed up with the pool,” he said.
“People are just sitting back and are a bit sceptical.
“The thing [pool] is not open and it doesn't look like it’s near being open.”
The ticket prices will begin on May 7 if they are adopted by council.
