GLORIA Jeans owner Richard Madigan says he knows more than most about the ongoing problems in Post Office Lane.
He said Orange City Council had not implemented anything from a report two years ago concerning the area.
Cr Jeff Whitton said the suggestions, including one to install more gates, weren’t introduced as they were unachievable.
Mr Madigan said the problems in the lane were caused by the “same group of kids” who had no parental supervision.
“There’s about 20 kids and they’re here all day,” he said.
“They haven’t got 20 cents in their pocket and they’ve got nothing to do.
“If you get rid of those kids you get rid of the problems. You just need an increase in police presence.”
