Friday April 13 to Saturday April 21, 2012
MORE than 35 vehicles, some jalopies and others limousines, will head out from the Robin Hood Hotel car park in Orange on Friday, April 13 on the 2012 Cruisin Along rally.
More than 80 participants will be make their way through Nyngan, Lightning Ridge, Charleville, Thargominday, Tibooburra, Bourke, and Narromine before returning to Orange in a bid to raise enough money to build the second stage of the cancer care accommodation at Orange Health Service.
Follow their progress every day and throw your weight behind this fantastic cause designed to create a home away from home for people receiving radiotherapy treatment at Orange Health Service.
Each day of the rally the CWD will run updates and photos.
Day one and two
Cruisin Along rally members are on the road today Charleville after leaving Lightning Ridge last night.
Buoyed by what Mayor of John Davis describes as "fantastic" the rally has raised almost $10,000 in the first 48 hours.
The first topover at Nyngan on Friday night saw locals turn out to support an auction and a raffle, and the experience was repeated last night at Lightning Ridge.
