I WAS reading your article in the CWD, page 4, Thursday November 2012 regarding the “Girls now allowed in guys only zone”. What a load of hogwash. Surely this cannot be true? If so I’m out, which is a shame for this business.
I am a regular at this barber shop and find the concept fantastic. It is great to go to the barber shop and talk pure footy, motor racing and anything us blokes love to chin wag about without feeling suppressed in our conversation due to the female clientele that may be in the waiting room.
Why can’t us blokes have a dedicated barber shop. In my experience the average Aussie bloke won’t go to a glamorous beauty salon as it’s too feminine and we feel like talking about more than just “how’s the family and kids.”
Anyhow, I fully support this concept in the plaza. For the record, I live in Bathurst but work here in Orange. If the concept changes, I’ll revert back to the original Bathurst Barber Shop where I live.
The guys and Jules are awesome and I make a point in telling them all that on my departure. I cannot see why some citizens disagree.
