ORANGE CYMS players make up a large portion of the Group 10 under 18 side to take on Group 11 next month.
Five players have been named in the starting line up in fullback Tim Bassmann, centre Mark Bettinzoli, five-eighth Daniel Mortimer, front rower Matt Geal and second rower Dane Howarth.
Steve Morris is named on the bench.
The CYMS boys will be joined by Orange Hawks second rower Kurt McNamara in the starting line up and Jake Hurford on the bench.
Group 10 under 18s coach Steve Sutton is impressed with the line up for this year's match against Group 11.
"We've got some very talented players," Sutton said.
"There's a good mix on experience and some kids who are the bottom age in their first year of under 18s. CYMS make up the bulk of the side which is an indication of their good pre-season form."
The rest of the side is made up of players from Bathurst Panthers, Bathurst St Pat's, Mudgee, Lithgow and Cowra.
Sutton believes selectors have picked wisely this season and the Group 10 combinations should test Group 11.
"I certainly think they've picked a side which is in form and is a mobile side," Sutton said.
"Last year we went more for size and that backfired on us. This year I think we've got a side that can match it with Group 11."
The Group 10 side will start training next Wednesday at St Pat's from 6pm.
