Ben Coster and Mitch Brown from Orange Pie Company were among those who got into the Christmas spirit and said they did well on Saturday.
"We've sold 164 pies already, that's in the first two hours, it's pretty good," Mr Coster said.
Jo Robson from Jo Robson catering at Canowindra said with coronavirus affecting the catering side of her business, she decided to attend the market to sell her sauces and preserves.
"It's been really good today, aioli is my best seller, everyone loves the aioli and the sticky toffee sauce," Mrs Robson said.
Sara Awad and Nichole Ng are completing work placements in Orange and were among those from Sydney who attended the market.
"It was recommended to us, we are actually not from Orange and we were told to come and have a look," Ms Awad said.
"It's really nice to be out with the locals and seeing what produce there is," Ms Ng said.
Due to COVID-19, the entry and exit were separate, hand sanitiser was provided, people were directed to walk in one direction and signs called on people to socially distance 1.5 metres apart.
