Families are invited out to the Huntley Road property on Saturday to pick the first of the seasons strawberries, grab a sausage for lunch and peruse the market stalls.
The 15 staff members employed at the OCTEC owned and operated property will run tractor rides and work the stalls.
Marketing Manager Gianni Belmonte said the open day was preparation for their Christmas pop up stores in Bathurst and in front of Orange's Kmart.
"It's a fun family atmosphere, just a great day out," he said.
Foragers will have the chance to take home punnets of fresh strawberries from Saturday, with blackberries and raspberries coming into season in December and vegetables popping up in January.
The season launch will also include face painting, a jumping castle, train rides and four-wheel motorbike rides. Children's amusement activities also include train and cup rides.
Mr Belmonte said they are expecting another large crowd, with more than 4000 people making the trip out last year.
Entry is a gold coin donation. The family fun day will run from 9am-3pm.
