IF you’ve ever wanted to take a swan dive off the top tower at Orange Aquatic Centre, now’s your chance.
Following an upgrade, including several layers of new paint, the diving pool will open for the first time today between noon and 6pm.
Orange City Council will trial opening the dive pool during these hours, but it will be on Saturday and Sunday only.
Council spokesman Allan Reeder said the centre also started using swipe entry cards for season ticket holders this week.
“The credit card sized cards are more convenient for patrons,” he said.
“They’re also much better for record keeping and collecting statistics.”
