Ms Williams volunteers with Glenroi Public School and James Sheahan Catholic High School.
Her work at the schools includes helping out with cooking programs and educating pupils on differing roles in Aboriginal families.
“I put my time in wherever it’s needed,” Ms Williams said.
An Orange resident for three years now, Ms Williams moved from Jindabyne to be closer to her family.
She is currently working on a Paddock to Plate exhibition with the museum alongside other Indigenous elder volunteers.
